On 29 November 2025, the Luxembourg Caribbean Carnival Association (LCCA) is hosting a fundraiser at Bâtiment 4, Esch-sur-Alzette, in support of the hurricane relief efforts for Jamaica following Hurricane Melissa. Arlette Fenton, President of the LCCA, stopped by to chat on the Sam Steen Radio Show on 21 November 2025; you can listen to the Sam Steen Radio chat. Arlette also spoke with Veronique Soisson from RTL.lu, with her write-up to be published later this week prior to the fundraiser. This fundraiser aims to raise vital funds to support those severely impacted by Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica.
