Luxembourg's first Caribbean Carnival, dubbed ´Lux Soca Fusion´is a vibrant cultural celebration that brings the spirit of the Caribbean to the heart of Luxembourg. The event features a lively street parade, music performances, and a carnival village showcasing Caribbean dance, music, and cuisine. It aims to highlight the rich cultural heritage of the Caribbean community and promote diversity in Luxembourg, offering locals and visitors an immersive experience of Caribbean traditions and festive energy.
The carnival is presented by the Luxembourg Caribbean Carnival Association asbl, which is dedicated to promoting Caribbean music and culture and fostering community engagement.
The inaugural Luxembourg Caribbean Carnival is scheduled for July 20, 2025, starting at 1 PM in Luxembourg City.
Everyone who appreciates Caribbean culture and traditions is welcome to join the festivities. The event promotes inclusivity and celebrates diversity, inviting attendees from all backgrounds.
Absolutely! The Luxembourg Caribbean Carnival is a vibrant, inclusive family-friendly event designed to welcome attendees of all ages. We offer colorful costume displays, music and dance performances, face painting, carnival arts and crafts and opportunities for cultural engagement.
Attendees can expect a vibrant celebration featuring:

Yes, those who miss the street parade will have the chance to see a display of costumes worn by parade participants on stage.
Costumes for the Lux Soca Fusion carnival street parade on July 20, 2025, will be available for order during the "Ocean's Melody: A Dance with Gems" Costume Band Launch Party on March 1, 2025. Masqueraders interested in participating in the street parade can select and order their costumes at the Neimënster Abbey held event.
Additionally, costumes will be available in our online shop at https://luxembourgcaribbeancarnival.com/shop-2/ starting March 2, 2025, allowing participants to choose their preferred design and join the vibrant Caribbean carnival celebration.
Details for costume collection will be given closer to the event.
Tickets and Admission
Attendance is free; however, all attendees must register and obtain a ticket to enter the carnival village. This includes all individuals, even infants.

Parking may be limited and could incur fees. However, we encourage attendees to cut back on their carbon footprint by using public transportation. All modes of public transport—including buses, trams, and trains—are free throughout Luxembourg, making it an easy and eco-friendly option for getting to the carnival.
We are committed to ensuring that Lux Soca Fusion is accessible for all attendees. Accessible restrooms are located next to the venue, and there will be a designated viewing area specifically for attendees with special needs. To ensure we can accommodate everyone effectively, we kindly ask that attendees inform us in advance of any specific needs so that we can plan appropriately.
Safety and Guidelines
A lost children's area will be set up near the information booth. If you lose your child, please report it immediately to any staff member or security personnel. We recommend setting a meeting point with your child upon arrival.
Yes, a lost and found area will be set up at the information booth for the convenience of attendees.
Only guide dogs are permitted in the carnival village.
Yes, first aid services will be available on-site to ensure everyone’s safety and well-being during the event.

Yes, official merchandise including T-shirts and other carnival paraphernalia will be available for purchase at the Arts and Crafts stall within the carnival village.
Food
Yes, the carnival will offer a variety of Caribbean culinary delights. We will provide updates on specific food options as we get closer to the event.
Yes, some food options will cater to vegan and vegetarian diets.
External food and beverages are not permitted in the carnival village.
Prohibited Items
For the safety and comfort of all attendees, the following items are prohibited:
Weapons
Illegal substances
Fireworks
Drones
Large bags or backpacks
External food and beverages
Important Notice: We do not have storage facilities for prohibited items. Any such items will be confiscated and appropriately discarded at the entrance. We kindly advise attendees to make alternative arrangements and leave these items at home or in a secure location before attending Lux Soca Fusion.
